Volunteer Branch Leaders Needed!
Mental Health America of Louisiana, a
statewide-nonprofit mental health advocacy and education organization is seeking
branch volunteers in Lafayette, Lake Charles, Monroe, and New Orleans. Leaders
will work with the main office to coordinate activities around mental health
wellness and community advocacy. The ideal candidate has a passion to promote
mental health wellness, is self-driven with a motivation to improve the quality
of and access to adequate behavioral health care, and is an advocate for
protecting the rights of others. Candidates shall have strong communication
skills, core leadership qualities, be resourceful, and demonstrate the ability
to mobilize key community partners. This position is also ideal for someone
currently working part-time or someone who is retired and interested in becoming
